The short list of honoree’s represent everything that is good with Milwaukee. Each of these individuals, in their own way, have made a significant contribution to the youth in our community. And, they have dedicated countless hours of service, thousands of dollars and vast amount of sweat and tears toward various service projects.
Please congratulate them and come to support them as we celebrate them on July 26, 2014 at Custer Stadium at 2pm. Additionally, we will be bringing awareness toward Breast Cancer. We want to help prevent it, recognize those who are surviving it and remember those who battled it fearlessly until the end.
It’s official and it is that time of the year!! The 5th Annual Rufus King-Riverside Charity Flag Football Game is on again. This year it promises to be even bigger and better than last year. This year the Tigers and Generals will team up to beat a select group of MPS All-Stars and bring awareness to the seriousness issue of Breast Cancer. Along with the American Cancer Society, the alumni of MPS will help to spread the word on prevention, honor all of our brave survivors of breast cancer and we will honor and remember those who lost the valiant fight.
The game again will be at Custer Stadium at 2pm. The game is free to all of those fans under 8 and $3.00 to all of those who which to donate to these worthy causes. Again, 100% of the profit goes toward the alumni foundation of these schools. As a way to show our dedication to the community the two schools will donate 50% of the earnings directly to the American Cancer Society.

The 4th Annual Riverside-Rufus King Charity Flag Football game will be on July 27th, 2013 @ 2pm at Custer Stadium at Custer High School on 4300 W. Fairmount.
The game is always fun and exciting, but the heart of the event is centered around helping to raise scholarship funds for worthy students. And, also to highlight some people whose work has helped to shine a bright light on the children and institution of Milwaukee Public Schools.
